Saint Catherine's Monastery – The Holy Monastery of the God-trodden Mount Sinai

Located at the base of Mount Sinai, Saint Catherine's Monastery holds a profound significance in the heritage of Christianity. Dating back to the 6th century, it endures as a sacred treasure house of Christian history. Legacy Icons

Founded in 2011 by portrait photographer David DeJonge, Legacy Icons aims to preserve the integrity and history of Christian iconography. Inspired by the first-millennium history of the Christian faith, we strive to bring its historic treasures and truths to people today. Using attention to detail and our exclusive  processes developed over the last 30 years, we meticulously reproduce these icons using the highest-grade museum-quality papers and the latest giclée printing technology. Our icons are guaranteed to retain their beauty and longevity for generations. 

Friends of Mount Sinai Monastery

Inspired by the world's oldest continuously-functioning monastery, the Friends of Mount Sinai Monastery is a charity founded to support the work of Saint Catherine's Monastery. The Monastery does not solicit donations, so in the face of the prolonged challenges they face, the Monastery's friends have undertaken this holy work.

Inspired by the iconography of Saint Catherine's Monastery, Legacy Icons has financially supported the Friends of Mount Sinai for years.
